Feral cats (also known as community cats) are usually cared for by the community, hence the name of the signature program Community Cats.

Kind-hearted people and animal rescues feed and care for the feral cats in their neighborhoods. Cats reproduce quickly and usually have multiple kittens at a time, so the only way to humanely control the population is through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return).
Every year, millions of stray kittens and adult cats enter shelters. A way to help reduce the number of stray cats is through TNR programs. However, the cost of the humane traps can be expensive for rescues that uses all their money to care and feed homeless animals.

This is where the Community Cat program comes in. Tru-Catch Traps, the leading humane cat trap company, is partnering with GreaterGood.org to provide these much needed traps to deserving shelters and rescue groups.
