Giant anteater

Peanut beetle
Also known as lantern flies, flying snakes, crocodile bugs, snake cicadas, among many other names, the peanut head bug is a mysterious creation. Strangely enough, this insect has a head that closely resembles a peanut! Scientists aren't sure what this head shape does. They believe it can mimic the head of a lizard to camouflage itself from predators. Its wings are unique in the way the spots appear like owl eyes. Some legends say that its bite can be deadly depending on the mood of the wings. The truth is, the peanut beetle is clearly defenseless and simply a harmless species.
Glass frog
True to its name, the skin of the Glass Frog is translucent even though it is mostly green. You can actually see its belly, heart, liver and other organs if you look closely! Glass frog tadpoles flow freely from the tree and fall directly into the water when hatching.
Jesus Lizard
The Jesus lizard is named for its ability to run on water. Catholic explorers have associated this possibility with the Gospel story of Jesus walking on the waters of the Sea of Galilee. When fleeing from predators, it can literally run on water at a speed of 1.6 km/h for a distance of 20 meters. The lizard Jesus is able to do this thanks to its toes possessing a special membrane, allowing it to stand on its hind legs and run on water.
Kinkajou
Kinkajou, a relative of pandas, has golden skin, fur, and a tail designed to grip tree branches. Commonly known as the bear monkey, honey bear or lion monkey, the Kinkajou is rarely seen because it is a nocturnal creature that clings to treetops. They use their 12.7 cm long tongues to pick fruit. They love to drink nectar and have a diet of 90 percent fruit. However, they are still considered carnivores. They are sometimes kept as pets although they can carry roundworm parasites.
Sloth
One of the most unusual animals on earth, the sloth (Sloth), is known to be a very slow animal. This mammal is slow-paced in everything from movement, sleeping 10 hours a day and moving only when necessary. It can take a month to digest food! Parakeets
Native to the forests of South America, the macaw is a bird commonly seen in flocks. They are loyal to their mates for life. They are beautiful, brightly colored birds. Their beaks are quite strong and can easily crush nuts, while their tongues have dry scales and contain bones, which are mostly used for tapping fruit. Some macaws can even imitate human speech!
American jaguar
Said to be the true king of the Amazon jungle, the American jaguar is the largest cat in the Americas, the third largest in the world, behind only lions and tigers. Their spots, which are very rose-like, set them apart from other big cats. The jaguar has the strongest bite force of all the predatory cats, with extremely powerful jaws. The jaguar has the ability to pierce the skull and break the shell of a sea turtle. This animal is a lone killer, and will often climb trees to hide when hunting.
