This lame girl was doomed to wander the inhospitable streets of Sarasota, if not for the kind hearts of the volunteers. They noticed the baby among other homeless kittens. She was probably hit hard, or she was attacked by a larger animal – it was clear that the sore paw was causing severe pain to the black cat!
Unfortunately, when the baby was brought to the doctors, it was no longer possible to save the paw …
After the operation, the kitten could not understand what had happened to her. The black cat sat in its cage and wept bitterly, disturbing the visitors of the shelter.
One of these visitors was Nadya, who came to take some of the poorest kittens to raise (temporary home overexposure). Nadia heard a thin plaintive voice and hurried to Violet ( Violet – that’s what the volunteers called the kitten among themselves)!
As soon as the black lump was in good hands, he immediately changed his tears to a joyful murmur and pressed himself against the neck of his new friend!)
“She could barely stand on three legs, ” says Nadia. – However, as soon as I pulled her out of the cage, she immediately turned on the “motor”! On the same day, Violetta went with us to my house…”
In the new place, everything was amazing and interesting. One thing upset little Violetta – the absence of a paw. She could not get used to the new balance and kept falling! I couldn’t get up on my own – therefore, with the invocative “miu-miu!” called for help to her savior.
At first, Nadia lifted her pupil from the floor dozens of times a day! Then she consoled, taught, supported and directed … Then together they overcame a terrible infection, due to which the baby almost lost an eye.
And soon everything went back to normal. Violetta is already running around the house like a bullet; so she met new cats – young red Logan (he has funny caramel stains on his fur coat) and black and white old-timer Dexter, who took both new ones under his wing.
And then came the first love – it was, of course, Logan!
Violetta was not embarrassed by the fact that her chosen one was special – his front paw did not bend, since both bones fused into one. But is this a barrier to love? And who could understand Logan better than the three-legged Violetta?
Two young cats hugged and played together, naughty and arranged a race. Sometimes young people involved in their tricks and Dexter, who was also rescued from the street at one time!
“I have never seen such a sweet relationship, ” Nadia laughs. “ They love each other and constantly thank me for saving them. They are the best!”
The woman understood that this strong friendship could not be broken, so she was looking for a family that could accept a young couple for permanent residence. And how happy she was when such a family was found!
But this was not enough for happiness.) Fate gave the cats and Nadia another unexpected gift – the same people wanted to take Dexter too!
Thus, the whole cheerful trio has moved into safe hands, where they are madly loved and pampered.)
