Do extraterrestrial life, aliens, unidentified flying objects exist? This is a controversial topic of mankind for a long time, and so far there is no answer. Here is evidence from thousands of years ago that many people believe to be related to extraterrestrial beings.
UFOs in ancient history
This painting titled "Madonna and Saint Giovannino" dates from around the 15th century. The painting depicts the Virgin Mary and appears in the background of the painting behind the Blessed Virgin a man watching in amazement. an object very similar to our modern perception of a UFO.

The famous Triumph's Summer tapestry in Bruges, Belgium was born in 1538 and is currently housed in the Bayerisches National Museum. On the carpet was clearly printed flying objects like depictions of UFOs which, even if confusing, was a Triumph's Summer motif. Some people believe that the UFOs were added to honor God's rule. One question arises why the 16th century Belgians were able to draw flying saucers and associate them with the mighty?

This is not the only example of UFOs in ancient art. There have been hundreds of examples of flying objects in numerous paintings spanning the centuries. Oddly enough, most of the paintings depicting UFOs are connected to a mental figure or experience. It is possible that the creators of these paintings wanted to explain what they saw or perhaps there was a literary connection between the spirit and the UFO.
Erich von Däniken, the famous and controversial writer with "God's chariot" depicts the gods as possibly intelligent aliens. In the Old Testament, Ezekiel's book deals with an encounter with a strange metal flying object in the shape of a wheel. Inside were four creatures that looked like humans.
It may take a long time for many to accept Däniken's theories but respect the opinion of astrophysicist Carl Sagan who believes we should seriously consider the possibility that extraterrestrials have appeared. in the past, so we do not completely reject this idea.
Astronauts have seen UFOs
After three days on the Apollo 11 flight, the astronauts on board sent a strange message to the space control station with the request: "Can you tell us the location of S-4B?". Astronauts are asking where the rocket's last stop was two days ago, it's because something went along the side of the rocket and if it wasn't part of the rocket, Apollo 11 appears to have had a visitor.

The crews on the ship did not want to get too close to the object for fear that it would cause panic and the checkpoint would require them to abandon the mission. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin recounted the situation a day later: "We felt something moving along the side of our ship but didn't know what it was. We didn't take any action. because there's a good chance someone will ask us to come back for aliens or whatever."
The checkpoint answered the cosmonauts' puzzling question about where the S-4B rocket was 6,000 miles from their location. The strange object that Aldrin and the three other astronauts saw was an unidentified flying object traveling along a path of light. In fact, according to Dr. David Baker, an experienced Apollo 11 expert, astronauts have seen a rare UFO.

In 1977, at Ohio State University, the Big Ear radio telescope received an unusual signal. Big Ear uses numbers and letters to determine the strength of a signal, 0 is simply noise and Z is a strong radio signal.
An astronomer, Dr. Jerry R. Ehman was studying data from the telescope and was shocked when a radio signal showing “6 EQUJ5” came from an empty spot in space. Ehman was surprised when he circled the received signal on the data sheet and discovered it meant “Wow.”

The transmission lasted 37 seconds and came from the constellation Sagittarius. What's more interesting is that the nearest star in that direction is 220 million light-years from Earth. In other words, that signal comes from an empty space in space. It's worth noting that the signal has all the properties of an interstellar transmission.
Some people have tried to explain that the signal originates from the earth, but this does not seem like a signal at an international frequency that is forbidden on earth. The final conclusion is that the signal originated from extraterrestrial and because there are no stars near the source of the signal, it is possible that the signal received is from an alien spacecraft.
From then on, it became one of the famous SETI (search for extraterrestrial intelligence). However, this signal cannot be observed and recorded, because it occurs only once.

R * = average rate of star formation per year in the galaxy.
ƒp = fraction of stars with planets.
ne = average number of potentially life-supporting planets for each planet-bearing star.
ƒ ℓ = a fraction of the stars whose planets actually went into development at some point in time.
fi = another small fraction of the stars whose planets actually develop life.
ƒc = the rest develop technology to signal their existence into space.
L = time period when these planets signaled into space.
Drake's Equation
Astronomer Frank Drake developed the Drake equation so that he could estimate the number of life-supporting planets in the galaxy by considering the factors listed above.
A rigorous estimate using the Drake equation made in 2001, also considered the number of planets in the habitable zone (this is the habitable zone surrounding a star with water source, ideal temperature, and able to photosynthesize).
The results show that there are hundreds, thousands of planets where life exists. It also suggests that an earth-like planet is only a few hundred light-years from Earth.
