Saved by a Good Samaritan
This was not enough, however, to deter Carys Raie , a woman who took a liking to the stray cat. The Englishwoman showed patience : she waited for almost a month for the tom to accept her caresses, and so that she could take him to a veterinarian.
There, Lucifer underwent several blood tests, was neutered, vaccinated, and then received a much-needed grooming session. He had been through so much suffering on the streets that it took 3 months for Lucifer to return to normal health, reports the Wakefield Express .
In search of a loving home
At the end of this long period, Carys embarked on the search for the ideal family for little Lucifer using social networks. ” We think he had a home in the past because he knows how to use a litter box, something a stray cat shouldn’t know how to do ,” she wrote on Facebook .
“ Today, Lucifer is in full health. He can live with other cats, but it is preferable that he lives alone, especially without a dog or without children. He doesn’t like to be carried, but he likes caresses. We can’t keep him because he preys on our dogs ,” she added.
